Matthew Ward ESQ

Matt opened the firm in July 2023, bringing with him many years of experience in a variety of practice areas, including landlord/tenant matters.  Prior to opening The Ward Firm, Matt worked as an attorney in a firm located in Brewerton.  His focus was civil ligitation in the construction industry.  Matt has also worked for the New York State Bar Association, as a local municipality’s council, and has served on several community boards.

Matt’s interest in the construction industry started as a young boy, working for his grandfather’s steel company.  The Ward Firm continued to represent commercial contractors in the Central New York Area until 2019.  Matt had been doing evictions for clients that also owned business on a very small volume.  When Covid-19 shut down the ability to evict deliquent tenants, Matt worked to find ways to help his clients.  As word spread about Matt’s ability to still get evictions, the business focus began to shift.  Today, The Ward Firm, is dedicated to only represeneting landlords through the eviction process.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys attending live performances, traveling, and is a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan.
